Recently a coworker told me that she received a large bonus, spent it, and then was told by the company she received it in error, and since she can't pay it back, they would simply withhold her next two pay checks. This doesn't seem right or fair at all. Are there any laws being broken here that she could bring up in court, or is she just SOL?
