- Unarmed, non-violent police
- The right not to be fired without cause
- A functioning infrastructure
- More female representation in politics
- Less consumer debt
- Good public transportation
- A smaller wealth gap
- Better child labor laws
- Consumer protections
- Digital privacy rights
- Voting rights
- Happier citizens
- Better food safety
- Better truth in advertising laws
- A military budget that isn't insanely bloated
- Less sexual assault
- Less gun violence
- Freer speech
- A freer more independent press
- Humane prisons
The UK ranks better than the US in all of these ways. Is it too late to say we are sorry?
