Hey everyone,
I’m absolutely livid. My wife was just told if she doesn’t attend mandatory overtime this weekend that they will dock her pay 6%, even though she volunteered to do overtime next weekend. We have 7.5% CPI increase and they want to dock SIX percent?
I looked it up and it’s all perfectly legal as of the at-will bullshit. I would love it if she had the next job lined up already, but I would rather have her just quit on principle. We have emergency funds to tap but god damn.
When she protested they just said “go work at Walmart then.”
Is this seriously the policy? How do we stand for this?
