Manager shooting herself in the foot just because she didn’t like me, love to see it

I worked on an inpatient psych unit for almost a year and a half. My manager and I never really vibed and then she started blaming me for things that I had no control over, she constantly forced us to work short-staffed with high acuity and wouldn’t let us ask people to pick up because she didn’t want to pay overtime, plus forced me to finish my shift after I got concussed by a patient. Every staff meeting i raised my concerns only to be shut down. So I finally quit but I offered to stay per diem because I knew the unit was short staffed and I also knew more people would be quitting shortly after me. She denied me saying I was 1 month short of the cutoff, despite having let many people stay with less time. I was trying to do her and my coworkers a favor…

So I finally quit but I offered to stay per diem because I knew the unit was short staffed and I also knew more people would be quitting shortly after me. She denied me saying I was 1 month short of the cutoff, despite having let many people stay with less time. I was trying to do her and my coworkers a favor plus trying to give myself a chance to make extra money if needed, and she chose to screw her staff because she didn’t like that I was vocal about my complaints during staff meetings. I think it’s funny but I also feel for my ex coworkers. Managers will truly go the extra mile to be petty even if it means turning down sorely needed extra staff, such a shame.
