My boyfriend and I work at a restaurant together & he was just offered a managing position. He was excited because the managers that we have now are making $20. Those managers just started managing and make $20.
Our boss offered him $16.
He wants to quit. (& I don’t blame him)
It’s just frustrating that his hard work isn’t recognized like other peoples work. And I’m not saying the other managers should be making less.. in fact we all should be getting paid more. But it’s just frustrating to see his hard work go down the drain. :/ He’s also one of the three Black ppl that work there, so idk if that has something to do with it… idk, I’m just very frustrated for him.
