So I started a new temp to hire job on June 6th. Great pay and benefits, was assured I would be hired full time in August. Worked for an accounting type office. Had to learn their software, forms, etc. Pulled aside today to be told I'm not the right fit. At a meeting we had with the department head, I yawned. Evidently two or three times. The meeting was right after lunch on a 90× degree day. My last job I worked 6-2pm. I was trying to adjust to working in the afternoon. Well I apologized for yawning. But evidently. I didn't show enough enthusiasm for my job. I yawned. In a meeting and the head honcho got upset. I really wish I was making this crap up. I'm just flabbergasted. Really wanted this job. Thinking I just avoided a HUGE dumpster fire. So glad I have this group to vent. Just FYI I am an elementary school employee. Left for the better pay. I can go back in August.
