[complete bitch post] I work in a warehouse and tonight our boss pulled us all to the side before we started to start cracking down on people having their phone on the floor, not even just checking it, like period. Says we’ll get fired instantly if caught with it. Says we don’t need to know what time it is for any reason until he tells us it’s time to go home. Shit, boring ass job, 11 hour shifts in 1 degree above freezing fridge and we were “living in the lap of luxury”. They’re determined to make this place as much like a prison as possible. Recently they even combined both departments lunch hour so the break room is massively overcrowded now which is great. Some people don’t even have time to eat cuz all the traffic and the lines for the microwave…
So sick of this place. The one thing keeping me on is the health benefits and the pay is just barely decent enough to get by on my single+roommates with almost no financial commitments lifestyle…
idk what to do. I half wanna start a cooking yt/TikTok channel since I’m pretty good at it but who fuckin knows if that’ll even take off enough to support myself and I realllyyyy need the healthcare.
