A few years ago I was working for a HVAC company making a very low wage for the work I was doing. I worked there for about 6 months when I was offered a new job making state rate($50/hr) which is a no brainier, it was about 3 times more than I was making. So I put my 2 well notice in face to face with my boss. When I told him the reason he started screaming at me in front of the whole office, even cussing at me in Italian. I really want bothered until he said “I took you in and took care of you, now you want to leave me just for money? YOUR A WHORE, YOU JUST LEAVE FOR MONEY!” I then asked him if he would do the same job for less money? And his response was, “YOU'RE FIRED! YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR LAST CHECK UNTIL YOU BRING BACK MY SHIRTS!” (work shirts with company logo).
So I brought back the shirts the next day, but I put a bunch of condoms I had in with the shirts.
Worst ending to a job I ever had.
What should I have done?
