I’m struggling with my new job as a dock worker been there for two weeks now was led on to believe it was M-F but turns out Saturday’s are mandatory. Jesus is it grueling. Not only am I basically working outside in the freezing cold I spend more than 10hrs a day in there from 5pm-3:30am and they don’t let you pick your shift. The pay is alright 18$/hr it’s the most money I’ve ever been paid but its not worth being a slave. But at the same time I need to make money. Any advice from people who have held down jobs like these would be appreciated. How do you deal with it?
