The title covers what I'm asking: What is the position here, on jobs where your only purpose is to look pretty and occasionally smile at people?
It doesn't matter if we're talking about strippers, paid cheerleaders for a professional sports team, the booth babes that used to be hired to work gaming conventions, and even just normal office jobs where you're placed in an extremely visible place where everyone can see you, but for some reason you never get asked to do a whole lot, but you're always meeting people when million dollar deals are at play.
