Antiwork

Google goes too far

I'm not sure if this really fits into antiwork, I believe it does. As much as we are slaves to our labor overlords… analytics and data collection are, in my opinion, some of the strongest tools said overlords utilize to remain in control (happy to debate further in comments). They fill the gap between our privacy and our employers privy. Anyways, today, my boss and I were discussing some options on expanding our business. We didn't look anything up, was just a discussion that segued into expansion, regarding potentially selling things we've never considered selling before. Within 20 minutes after this discussion, I had multiple calls from companies who sell software to MSPs… we've never had those calls before. This probably just sounds like paranoia, hell, maybe it is. Just seems wayyy too related to be coincidence. Fking sick of my privacy being invaded for profit.
