So I left my last employment back beginning of the year, gave 4 weeks notice and my boss at the time was like no thank you, don’t bother helping anymore so whatever cool.
Now he’s messaging my current employer that I need to stop badmouthing him and reaching out to his current staff to quit. One of his staff members wanted to catch up and so we did back in June and she blabbed to him that I say X,Y, Z and I knew all these things going on.
- That gossip spreads through others and they loop me in. I texted the chick to lose my # and to go f herself basically. He got upset and told my employer about it, what did he expect me to do?!!
2.His staff reaches out to me. They ask for either recommendation or to help them find new employment opportunities. It’s not my fault that they don’t want to work with him anymore.
- Not sure if he’s snooping on his current employee phones or if his staff is showing him convos I’ve had with them from months ago where THEY reach out to me not knowing what to do and I’m honest with my suggestion that they should leave but ultimately up to them. He sent a new screenshot to my current employer but it’s from like 3mo ago so I have not reached out to anyone.
He’s all like “ he gonna sue for defamation”, eye roll, just venting. Current colleague says I should look into an attorney or report him but not sure how to go bout things. Don’t want the hassle but also threading carefully. He’s verbally abusive and a few of us kept the screenshots and want to report the clinic to DOH/FDA because things weren’t being done as they should.
