Just wanted to share my favorite interview enticement

Verbatim, the interviewer/supervisor said, “I bet your current company doesn’t even have a ping pong table” as if my current company didn’t have one of those, plus beer in the fridge every Friday. One of the most toxic workplaces in my life but it is kind of spicy, I won’t lie. Regardless, millennial upper management stays on the ping pong route when all I really want is some flexibility, a living wage, and affordable healthcare. I’ve played ping pong. It didn’t help my performance or make me any more excited to come to the office. Edit: I work in sales. Not sure if this is typical in other fields but the amount of job descriptions I’ve seen advertising things like “ping pong” as incentives to join their team have about sent me over the edge.
