Coworker is telling people I get high at lunch

I’m not sure if this is a good place for this post, but I will continue. Yesterday on my way home one of my few coworker friends told me that another coworker had been going around telling people I do “drugs” at my lunch break. Why would she think that do you ask? Apparently I’m too happy after lunch. I’ll admit that I do smoke outside of work but nobody knows that or would have any way of knowing. I work at a medical office and take care of patients. I would never come to work intoxicated or do anything at work for that matter. Anyway, my dilemma is; do I let this go and ignore it, waiting for the boss to get told? Do I talk to my boss ? Yesterday on my way home one of my few coworker friends told me that another coworker had been going around telling people I do “drugs” at my lunch break. Why would she think that do you ask? Apparently I’m too happy after lunch. I’ll admit that I do smoke outside of work but nobody knows that or would have any way of knowing. I work at a medical office and take care of patients. I would never come to work intoxicated or do anything at work for that matter.
Anyway, my dilemma is; do I let this go and ignore it, waiting for the boss to get told? Do I talk to my boss ? I’ve had many civil confrontations with this person, but also uncivil. So talking to the person making accusations is out of the picture. I honestly cannot stand her, she has been very rude and disrespectful to me for no reason ever. I am leaving the department I’m in this Friday anyway, so I won’t have to see her daily. Should I just forget about it? I’m want to get ahead of the rumor, but I also don’t know if bringing it up to my boss would be beneficial. Any advice on this topic is appreciated.
