It’s not COVID just to clear that up. Woke up today at around 3 AM drenched in sweat, overwhelming nausea, stomach pains and every muscle in my body being super sore. Texted my my boss a picture of my thermometer which at the time said 100.8 still a fever but over the next couple hours it would grow into a 103.2
My boss responds with the classic line of “Today's absence will be documented as an unexcused absence as you do not have any sick time to cover” so here I am sitting on the floor of the bathroom at work dry heaving because there is nothing left in my stomach to throw up
