How can we get stuff done with people who see work so differently? We can’t. We have to ignore them and push through them.

One of the big divides between politicians and regular folks is that politicians can but never want to retire and regular folks can't wait to but don't see retirement as being possible. I literally can't imagine wanting to work when I don't have to. And they can't imagine work that people only do for money.
