New job asking for previous jobs offer letter?

I recently began the process of getting rehired by my previous company. I was laid off due to budget cuts in May, but the company is now able to rehire me. Since I have no prospects at the moment, I’ve accepted. Part of that process is a background check. I recently began the process of getting rehired by my previous company. I was laid off due to budget cuts in May, but the company is now able to rehire me. Since I have no prospects at the moment, I’ve accepted.

Part of that process is a background check. I have already completed this the first time they hired me, but it must be done again for the rehire process.

The only issue is, this time they’ve asked me for a lot of supporting documents they didn’t ask for the first time.

They asked for my unofficial transcripts & previous paystubs. Okay, no big deal, I sent them paystubs from when I first worked for them & then sent them a paystub from the company before that.
