So excited to announce our union at Rochester General hospital in Rochester, NY. it's a nurses union that passed a vote yesterday by a pretty large margin. We demand better and safer conditions for the well-being of our patients and nurses.
I'm not a member of the union because it's only a 'nurses union' and I'm a CST who works in the operating room with nurses all day everyday. So I didn't get to vote but, I think things will improve for everyone. I'm so thankful for this sub who inspired any of my nurse coworkers to vote yes and try to change for the better!!
