She worked at an accounting office for $5 over min wage. She liked the job at first, but as she kept getting her work done, they kept piling on more and more work until she couldn't handle it. Her boss would berate her constantly. She would come home crying every day. Then she would do more work at home (unpaid) so she get “get it all done”.
One day, she confronted her boss about constantly being upset with her workload and never being able to finish, and how it was causing her anxiety. Her boss straight up told her to take anxiety meds so she would feel better and be able to get her work done.
She quit the next day.
