I don't write this for sympathy, I just am absolutely appalled at how they've handled this. Maybe this isbt even the right place for this, I just need an outlet.
I wasn't there, but my mom who also works there was. Someone shot an employee at point blank right in front of the building, people saw it and obviously word spread quickly.
Management's response is to tell everyone to just get back to work. As if anyone can just pretend this didn't just happen. They had friends and family who worked there, even if you didn't know them, this is still a tragedy.
How can you be expected to think rationally and just move on because “we have work to do”?
This is disgusting, I can't even find the right words to express how i feel right now.
