My co-worker injured him self when he walked into a piece of equipment (a lot of overhead hazards at work at times). He went to a manager and said “do I need to fill out a injury report? It really hurts”. The manager says “no because you walked into something stationary so we can’t fill out a report”.
The man was injured AT WORK, WHILE PERFORMING WORK DUTIES….but no report? Well the union is involved now and my co worker is being seen my a Doctor as I type. My boss is probably pretty screwed for this one…..despicable.
