Today they revealed that they are the company I had to file a labor complaint against in 2020 in order to get my final paycheck. So now I want to run screaming. But since the point of going back to work was partially to see if I can manage my stress levels (I have stress induced pseudoseizures), this makes it a much better test for me.
And in six months to a year, I'm planning to leverage this position into a better paying position elsewhere, so putting up with a shitshow for a few months in order to better my situation… it's worth it to me. But wish me luck, because I am now SUPER scared. Also, I can't believe they rehired me after I did that.
