It was time for my annual review 45 days ago. I asked when I should expect it, was given a date, awesome my role had dramatically changed and I had been doing great. So I accordingly expected a decent raise.
Date came, and went. Was given a new date. That date came and went. I sent another email asking to have the meeting and for a firm date. No reply. So 24 hours later I sent an email summarizing my accomplishments, goals, and the results that I was looking for and ended it asking for them to review and let me know when we could sit down.
I proceed to be ghosted for 10 days. I took this non-answer as an answer. A no. So I typed out my resignation and gave 30 days notice. No job plan, but not this, no more.
What’s this?! Why do you want to leave? What can we do to retain you? Please see my last email. No response. Got it, I made the right choice.
Have gotten a lot of satisfaction in responding to co-workers asking why I’m leaving/where I’m going with idk but I’m done here. Done with the toxic boss, done with the shit pay and done with the lack of respect
