About 4 weeks ago I accepted a job offer, but ended up taking a better offer somewhere else. I notified the employer before the start date that I wouldn't no longer be going forward with it
and rescinded my acceptance. It's been 4 weeks since then and I've received 2 paychecks in the mail.. I figured my minimum due diligence here is to notify them that this is occurring.
I'm all about sticking it to the man for my benefit, but don't want to be a complete schyster. What do you guys recommend? If I notify them and it keeps happening, I figure I deposit it and after some long time period (6 months or so) potentially start using it. Talk me down from the ledge or help me jump and do it. I'm not in dire need of additional cash, but as anybody could say I wouldn't mind some extra spending money after some time.
