I've got some of my own, courtesy of an interview I just had today at 7 Eleven, a job I will definitely not be taking.
- Didn't give me an opportunity to ask any questions
- Definitely didn't read my application beyond my contact info
- Didn't disclose pay rate
- Gave me another application to fill out, despite me having done exactly that online
- Made unnecessary comments about previous trainees (“I've had a lot of young girls here who, when I'm trying to teach them something, will be staring out the window.” Like okay? What's that got to do with anything?)
Am I weird for being put off by all this? Also add some more red flags in the comments for anyone who might be new to the job seeking process.
