American employees in companies like Spotify, IKEA, Eriksson, Skanska etc. but working in the US offices. Do you have the same perks as your Scandinavian colleagues?
I'm talking about 25-30 days of guaranteed vacation over the summer months, 6 months-1 year of paid parental leave, unlimited paid sick days etc.
Edit: After some searching I see that Spotify does in some way: “Global parental leave, six months off – fully paid – for all new parents.”
I'll clarify why I wrote this post. I'm myself a Scandinavian and generally we have a different way of thinking and working in our countries than in the US. I'm hoping that because of the founders' backgrounds this would reflect on their companies treatment of their employees globally. If not, I'm sure US employees would envy their European colleagues which is bad for the overall moral.
