Anyone else work as sales rep and have the veil lifted?

Wasn’t allowed to post the screen shot, but I recently left Red Bull. Still got an E-mail with the header, “60 days already!? How’s it going?” I gave a reply…Not sure it will be read by anyone, but it was cathartic to speak (write) my peace…Here’s what I replied! Enjoy… Hi! Idk if this will just get thrown in the trash, or never be viewed by human eyes, but lemme tell ya…Red Bull…Not a good company… You exploit your ASM’s (Mostly through the trap of salaried work to get free labor, combined with difficult sales goals) and work them to the bone with unattainable expectations that sacrifice their bodies and personal lives. For a company that has a CEO worth 25 or whatever BILLION…You’d think you could maintain the same growth and relative profits if you cared for your workers by giving them a sustainable and safe job. Hi!

Idk if this will just get thrown in the trash, or never be viewed by human eyes, but lemme tell ya…Red Bull…Not a good company…
You exploit your ASM’s (Mostly through the trap of salaried work to get free labor, combined with difficult sales goals) and work them to the bone with unattainable expectations that sacrifice their bodies and personal lives.
For a company that has a CEO worth 25 or whatever BILLION…You’d think you could maintain the same growth and relative profits if you cared for your workers by giving them a sustainable and safe job. People would flock to these positions if they were well compensated for a job that didn’t leave them broken.
Would also be cool if you didn’t show propaganda videos to the employees that display Red Bull as a “Healthy” product, while trying to pair it with, “Active lifestyles.”
(Someone’s definitely had a Red Bull, gone for a run, had a heart attack, but it can’t be your fault, right?
As my manager said, “Let’s be real, we sell sugar water.” Red Bull pumps 20oz cans of death into the veins of lower income areas, contributing to a health crisis that doesn’t need any additional assistance.
Red Bull does give people wings!..They have heart attacks, become angels, and go to heaven (hopefully.)
Red Bull made me realize why I enjoy working more meaningful and quiet jobs that actually help people, instead of going along with this “grind-set” sales mentality y’all push.
Turns out I can put food on the table and enjoy a healthy amount of personal time with my loved ones without giving my soul to the alter of capitalistic competition.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for hard work, just not the type of soul-sucking work you provide…
60 days indeed!! How did I last THAT long?
Live long and prosper…Just not at the expense of the bodies and time of the folks you exploit.

Much love,
