Hello, I've recently had the idea of setting up a week long general strike and wanted to know if that's something we could spread the word on and get others to join in. Although I'm very left leaning, I'm hoping we could get people from everywhere to join in to let our politicians know who runs the country and that we're unsatisfied. No one likes the government or their jobs, and if we only spread this to liberal subs, this won't be as drastic as it needs to be. The idea is still in its infancy, but I figured the week before Thanksgiving would be a good time. I heard Q4 is when a lot of companies gain most their profit, and we'll also need time to spread the word. I'll be sending this to several other subs, and sorry if this goes against any rules.
Also have a subreddit here ( r/BiteofanAnt ) which was made to try to establish a community to revolt, but I think right now I mostly want to just focus on the general strike idea and it doesn't have to be on one particular sub.
