Management did not show up for two whole hours after they were supposed to arrive for my onboarding on my very first day as a “power move. “

Retail, of course. The interview itself should’ve been a major red flag. The manager kept attempting random power moves and then coming right out and saying they were power moves. I accepted the job because I’m desperate for anything right now and don’t have over a hundred dollars to my name. My first day comes around and I show up 20 minutes before I was told to show up (mind you, my onboarding was taking place during normal store hours.) I was told to show up at open which is 9 am, but no one in management showed up. The other employees were sitting around waiting. I asked someone if they knew anything about what was going on, and apparently it’s common for management to be excessively tardy. I left after an hour of trying to contact the managers. An hour after that, I get the “where are you?” call.…
