You either got the “good” email (not fired) or the “bad” email (fired). I got the good email, but it still feels terrible. Most of the accomplishments I’ve had in the last 4 years of employment are now pointless because they are sunsetting the products I worked on. I don’t even know why I’m still here. The leaders responsible for the decisions that got us here all still have their jobs. No repercussions. Also no communication with us. Why do I even try?
