So my job had been paying for covid leave. I had taken many precautions and had managed to not get the virus for two years. Well ended up getting it at the beginning of the month. But! It just so happens that they ended the covid leave in June. So now I got stuck still having a mandatory two week quarantine period on my dime. Some of my co-workers and supervisors have taken the leave two or thee times since this stared. I tested negative six days after my initial positive test, but I still had to stay away for the rest of the week. It doesn’t bug me to much. I had plenty of leave since I’ve been here five years and never really call in sick. I still think it sucks though.
