So I am leaving my job within 2 years so I have to pay back 50% of my relocation costs. On my w2 it states RELO $8817.63. So 50% of that is $4408.81. However my company is saying I owe $4753.81. Which would mean my relo was $9507.63. They are saying the additional amount is for taxes. I thought that the whole amount should be on my w2. What should I do?
