Sorry if this isn’t the right sub for this, I’m not well versed in the movement (or this site tbh), but how the hell am I expected to tag/hang boxes of clothes for 4 hours in a dingy back room that has ZERO ac or ventilation? I’d ask to work up at the front end but it’s only marginally better there. I’m sick to death of sweating through my shirts not even a half hour into my shift! I’m barely being paid above minimum wage!! I’ve half joked about striking to some of my coworkers and honestly I’m this close to actually looking into it for real.
But enough complaining, is there any concrete action I can take to get better working conditions in my store? Is this something that can be reported to OSHA for actual results?
