Sure I’m in an extremely emotional state and I’m mainly venting – but I just got an email that the company will not be moving forward with me.
Everything seemed great, the hiring director was using “you will be” language during the call and we really had a fantastic interview. I somewhat put all of my eggs in one basket with this one, but it seemed SO certain that I was going to get the role. Now I truly understand that even if you think you had a perfect interview, nothing is guaranteed. I’m devastated to say the least. 2 months of stress, anxiety, studying, and multiple rounds of interviews and sleepless nights all wasted. Any advice for moving on? I’m literally like a deer in the headlights right now as this was my “dream job”
Forgive my coping mechanism of posting here. Being a candidate is brutal nowadays.
