So everyone knows about the fact that fast food jobs understaff intentionally to keep labor down, as they know the loyal workers will work regardless of poor scheduling, and that new people will quit within days/weeks because it’s a zoo/the loyal people are hyper independent and will push the new people away.
Has anyone else experienced your job expecting you to rage quit from not being trained properly?
The job I have rn, they didn’t train me and they could very much tell I had been pretty pissed those days with poor management/work environment. They only scheduled me for the week (to be trained) but despite having a pissy 2 weeks of training myself I know everything now, and they don’t know what to do with me?
It’s not like they don’t want anything to do with me, its just after a very stressful 5 hours in my 8 hour shift, they’ll literally just have me standing there or ask me if I wanna go home early.
Then I have to ask them every day when I should come in tomorrow, and its been about a week and half of having to ask them when I should work next, they haven’t put me on the paper or computer schedule.. Any thoughts or similar instances?
