The last pay period ended July 2nd, so new one was 7/3-7/16 and I worked 7/5-7/8 and left for vacation 7/10-7/20. Payday was supposed to be today, 7/21 but when I woke up this morning I realized I didn't get paid at all and I'm already living paycheck to paycheck as it is. I saved money for months because I don't get any paid days off or sick days and I save every penny in case I need it.
I love my job even if I get paid min wage with no benefits (I work at a small daycare with infants) but my boss is super cheap and I'm getting tired of it, especially when it starts affecting the kids. I am moving next month so I plan a quitting soon and actually working somewhere with a living wage.
For now, I'm waiting for her to go on her break to text her and ask her about it. Wish me luck, I hate confrontation.
