Must I hate my job and must I continue doing it?

I don't think anyone enjoys such a low-end job as dishwashing, for example, but I feel particularly affected by the monotonous grind just for some money. Being in the same little pit for hours on end without a single break, not even getting any food, really fucks with me. I'd rather be reading, writing, learning something new, playing my instruments, listening to music, spending time with my family, exercising – hell, I'd rather be doing just about anything else; and I don't even strictly need the money right now. That's an aimless rant and I'm sorry, but I've come to realize that the only positive thing to come from my work is that I now enjoy every single moment outside of that kitchen a hell of a lot more.
