“Living Wage” vs “Living Income”

I wonder if we could please stop talking about a living wage? I'm pretty sure the focus on that is one of the bigger reason we're not “allowed” to work enough hours. Could we please stop talking about a living income instead? I think that matters a lot more than how many dollars per hour we make or how many hours we're “allowed” to work. It (hopefully) goes without saying that caveats are also put in place to pay us more than the minimum income if we work more than the expected hours. But that's a separate issue and seems to be a much smaller problem these days.
