So usually I would let my manager know I'm putting in notice, put it writing to big boss or HR then peacefully work my notice.
For this job, I just can't spend another day with the hag that is my manager!
So how do I quit and basically say I'm leaving right now goodbye? We have a nice HR manager I could probably tell her instead of dealing with my bullying boss. What exactly can I say?
I could work the weeks notice but my manager will be on my ass about handovers etc and I don't want to do any more work for them. So unfortunately I don't think I'd get away with coasting as much as I'd like the pay for an extra week.
