Without getting into specifics, I work for a large company and have taken on additional responsibilities after a restructure. The company is struggling profit wise however it is a multi billion dollar company, however I am entitled to a pay rise by their own self admitted criteria.
But they say there is no money to give me at present because of the company’s financial situation, they acknowledge I am owed one but they are now asking me what I would like instead of a pay rise.
Before anyone says it yes obviously this is complete BS, and I’m not happy. But in the short term does anyone have any ideas of what I can ask for that will make my life better?
