I work at a dealership that pays ok but has no room for advancement and is a family run business with all the nepotism that brings. It’s not great but it’s ok. The thing that keeps me working here is the shop manager. I came in and said I needed the afternoon off to put my old dog to sleep. The only question was “Do you need tomorrow off as well?” Fight for better from bosses who don’t understand loss and grieving. We the working class deserve compassion like this.
