Hi everyone,
I was looking for a new job for so long. At my current job, my managers are incredibly rude and disrespectful to the employees, causing crazy turnover and employees crying at work. My coworkers should not throw up before their shifts because of how nervous they are to see my bosses. I (among other employees) have been insulted by my managers and underpaid for my job ( i serve and get 1.5% of tips ). I accepted a new job yesterday that requires I start in two days. I know I need to quit now and that because of the way they treated me and other employees they don’t deserve the courtesy of a notice. Plus, because of high turnover, they hired a few new people in my role, and we are constantly over staffed so I know I’m not needed. I’m just nervous to quit.
What do I say? Any advice? I’m going to do it via email, because the last girl who quit over the phone and even gave a two week notice, was berated and insulted on the phone.
