I was once a supervisor in a call center at the 2nd largest ISP in the USA and I hated every second of it.
Drained my time energy and destroyed my mental health. I wouldn’t go back to being a supervisor aka middle management ever again. It’s just not worth it no matter the pay, perks or bonuses for someone like myself.
I now make less money in standard salary however my new bonus structure helps out. So does working from home M-F 8am – 5pm as opposed to 4pm-1am Sun/Mon off, closing in office ) I did this for 3 years!). Also, having a competent management team now is priceless.
Never again. Money isn’t always the answer. I couldn’t be happier in life. I wish and hope everyone finds what I have.
