The title says most of it. I went on leave but let my mom use my work laptop for something when hers broke down and let slip to a colleague in passing conversation. She reported me and now I’m having a hearing for giving my log in details to a third party. I am guilty of this and they can easily check history so I am expecting to get fired as in their file this classifies as immediate cause of dismissal. Now should I just quit? I don’t like this job anyway I was going to quit next month due to lack of progression and for my own mental health but could’ve really used the salary.
(I’m in UK and the company doesn’t offer u employment so unfortunately don’t say get fired and collect unemployment)
