Okay a bit if context. I work in CA I work in dental. I started at this office about 4 months ago and was offered a job at a place with higher pay.
Well as a courtesy I gave my boss a week notice and of course my coworkers were curious and asked how much I would be making. I told them.
She calls me later today to tell me that it was unprofessional to discuss wages with my coworkers and told me not to even come in for my last day for this reason.
Can someone enlighten me? Was this really unprofessional or did she just retaliate at me for having the discussion? Pretty sure I was making less than everyone one else anyway considering they have 10+ years more than me.
