I showed up on time; but was told to leave because “on time means you’re late.”

I had an interview last week for a smoke shop retail sales associate position. I showed up promptly at the interview time; and was told to wait for the manager who was just finishing up her lunch. Okay. I wait for about 10 minutes or so. And then she comes in, introduces herself to me and says; “We value being on time here; and since you didn’t show up 15 minutes early for this interview it shows me that you would cut it too close showing up on time for your shifts. For that reason I will not be interviewing you today.” 🤯 I hate it here. Side note: I ended up finding a much less toxic place of employment so it all works out I guess.
