Is my effort worth my pay?

I work at a restaurant in Canada. My pay is 15$ an hour (minimum wage). When I first applied to my job, I had no idea what I was getting into, dropping off resumes got me a job at this new restaurant that’s modern/pretty cool. Everyone there is enjoying to chat with, and I’m 17 so I’m kind of the kitchen bitch, taking orders from my Su chef and anyone really. I work 6-7 hour shifts depending on how busy closing is. But what’s crazy is how intense the kitchen life is! Seriously I will not stop moving for my entire shift, no one takes breaks. It’s like no wants to bring that up cause it’d be awkward to address how NO ONE takes them. I seriously watch all my coworkers work shifts longer than me and they don’t take breaks. It’s like no wants to bring that up cause it’d be awkward to address how NO ONE takes them. I seriously watch all my coworkers work shifts longer than me and they don’t take breaks. I just don’t get how breaks aren’t supported in a fast paced environment that takes a lot of energy. This sounds like a rant, but I’m just curious how others think about my situation, I couldn’t imagine taking a break during my shift, I think I’d get fired. If I lean on the counter for a second, you get to hear “if you have time to lean on the counter you have time to do other things”.

PS: for context as a line cook I cook/clean/organize produce while keeping the line of food constantly going or it’s my ass.
