Unless you are desperate, avoid working for Kroger brands.

Seriously. I took a job at a kroger brand store 6 weeks ago, and its absolutely terrible. split days off, constantly changing hours, and a store manager that only cares about his end of year bonus, so we are severely understaffed. By that, I mean I'm the only person in an area that needs at least 2 more people, and I'm expected to do manager duties (backroom counts, ordering, etc.) even though I'm not a manager, nor am I getting manager pay. I brought this up to the managers, and was told that if i didn't like it they would move to to a part time position with less than 15 hours per week and I would never have a set day off. forced me to keep doing this job. im dreading going to work tomorrow, but after 3 months out of work, i had to take the first job…
