Feeling a little disillusioned right now, after my company, which owns 20 medical clinics, has just announced they've bought another company with 14 clinics. This company has stated a month ago that they can't afford cost of living raises because they haven't gotten raises from the government. In fact, they haven't given cost of living raises in 7 years. The workload has increased steadily though, along with “Key Performance Indicators” being introduced and staffing being cut.
They announce this like we should be happy about the company's success, but it's not like we are sharing the profits.. Our wages have been inflated away. The pure greed just makes me feel angry and disgusted, and a bit disillusioned that most people wont give a shit about any of this. Sadly other companies aren't really paying any more.
