Take this job and shove it.

I have a hybrid work schedule (2 days in the office, 3 days WFH) and was fired yesterday….during lunch. So, my skip boss (my boss' boss) scheduled a “Sync” meeting with me during the lunch hour while I was working from home (WFH). I assumed it was about the major project that was scheduled to launch the next day (today), so I put off lunch in order to attend this meeting. She and I were sharing a laugh about a meme when my C-level boss (skip skip boss) and HR joined the meeting. Then I noticed a popup from slack saying that I needed to sign in. The part that pisses me off the most is that I had a company “lunch” card (every employee gets one) but they had canceled that right before the meeting, so I couldn't even get lunch on my last day.

Then they had the scrote to email my personal email address and ask that I submit all receipts for my July expense report. Not only do I not work there anymore, but those receipts were in my (now deactivated) work email. So, no thank you.

I completely erased my laptop, reinstalling windows, and left a post-it note on it for the IT guy that I think he'll appreciate. For the record, the IT guys is badass. I enjoyed interacting with him.
